Johnny Wright Auctions, LLC is the Pine Belt's Hometown Auctioneer. We conduct farm and machinery, livestock, and liquidation sales with our attentive, dedicated staff, creating an entertaining, exciting atmosphere.
We advertise your merchandise to thousands of people through online and live bidding as well as early bidding options including but not limited to mail outs to our extensive buyers list, social media, radio, email and digital marketing.

We form a firm link in the sales process and accommodate both buyers’ and sellers’ needs. We are fantastic communicators and able to provide a relevant third party to the process and build rapport with the crowd. Our professional ring men get involved in negotiations on the auction floor and interact face to face with buyers.

OUR ROOTS
Johnny Wright Auctions, LLC, is owned and operated by Johnny Wright. He is a lifelong resident of Jones County. He and his wife, Ashly, have been married for 29 years and have two children (JT and Lara) and one grandson (John Boy). Raised in the stockyard with his granddaddy, Johnny knew he wanted to be an auctioneer at an early age. After graduating from West Jones High School in 1992, Johnny left to attend the World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa. Upon completion he returned to Jones County to fulfill his dream of auctioneering. While currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Auctioneering Association. Johnny attended several Advanced Bidding Seminars, in 2015 and 2017, and in 2015 Johnny won the Mississippi State Rookie of the Year Award. He currently does sixty to eighty auctions a year either for himself or as a contract auctioneer and is currently serving as the Vice President of the Mississippi State Auctioneers Association.
Johnny is licensed in Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana. Johnny Wright is passionate about being an auctioneer, and those who attend his auctions detect and enjoy his enthusiasm. "I just love it . . . the people, the atmosphere, the excitement." He is honest and hard working. "I believe in building a relationship with a client. It is key for them to have a successful auction, and I want their auction to be fun and exciting for all involved – the client, the workers and the people attending." Since starting Johnny Wright Auctions, LLC, Johnny is earning people's trust as the area's "Hometown Auctioneer" and the business has more than doubled.
